Welcome to riverview farms!

We are just now developing a Facebook page.....bear with us!

Forget the "dog whisperer" or the "Lion Whisperer"...we have the "Chicken Whisperer...in the farm journal

Pollinators welcome!
We have eliminated chemicals and sprays from our farm.  Replaced them with cover crops and seen an abundance of pollinators.  This field is filled with buckwheat and sunflowers.  The bees love it!  They flock to the fields and pollinate the flowers.  Our tomatoes are in close vicinity, so they are sure to be pollinated as well.

We support Bison Coolers. An American made product. Check them out at bisoncoolers.com. Contact us for some great deals!
We have updated the website.  We hope you find it easier to navigate.  There are some exciting additions to what we do.  Take a look around!  Let us know what you think.
We have heard many amazing compliments about our eggs.  Thanks to everyone from NY, PA, and even OH for your support.  The girls have come around and are happily laying. We have resumed supplying our eggs to HerbsR4U2 Warren, and Evan's Market in Tidioute.  The Hummingbird Café in Tidioute only uses our eggs (we highly recommend the bread pudding).

Welcome to Riverview Farms!

Our operation is set along side of the beautiful Allegheny River in Tidioute, PA.  Consisting of 200 acres of fields and woodlands, we use rotational grazing practices to manage the land in the best ways possible.  We also use our given resources to our advantage in raising our animals and crops.   All of our animals are free to roam the outdoors all spring, summer, and fall.  During the winter, the chickens spend their time in the greenhouses keeping warm and toasty.  Our cows eat stockpiled grasses and hay in the winter if the grass runs out.  The pigs prefer to stay in the woods in their shanty.  They cozy up in a deep bed of hay.  Our cattle are small frame Lowline influenced Angus.  Our hogs are Berkshire/Large Black cross.  We do sell feeders and seedstock animals as well as processed meats.
Our ag products include beef, pork, broiler (meat) chickens, fresh brown eggs, sweet corn, pumpkins.  Other produce items are occasionally available in the summer months.  All of our meats are MSG, Nitrate, Nitrite, and preservative free.  Only raw spices are added to our sausages and cured pork products to enhance flavor.
The best part of owning and running the farm is being able to grow and raise our own food.  We take pride in that our pigs, chickens, and cattle are all pastured and raised naturally.  You will find no hormones, steroids, or antibiotics in our livestock.  Making our meat healthier and better tasting.  We also take pride in knowing that the next generation to run the farm has been taught to respect and love the land and the animals.  We hope that they enjoy not only the satisfaction of harvesting the crops but also appreciate the hard work it takes to run a farm.
